RatePathLoans.com is a marketing and referral service, not a lender. When you submit a request, we may disclose the information you provide to up to six participating mortgage or refinance providers so they can evaluate your request and contact you.
1. Scope and who we are
This Privacy Policy applies to RatePathLoans.com, related pages that link to this policy, and the mortgage-refinance inquiry services offered through them (collectively, the “Site”). In this policy, “RatePath,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to RatePathLoans.com.
RatePath provides online marketing and referral services. We do not make credit decisions, approve or fund loans, set loan terms, or guarantee that a participating provider will contact you or offer a product. A provider that receives your information will process it under its own privacy practices and applicable law.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
We collect information you enter into the questionnaire or otherwise provide to us, including:
- Contact and identity information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, date of birth, street address, state, and ZIP code.
- Property and mortgage information, such as property type, estimated property value, estimated mortgage balance, whether you have a second mortgage, whether the mortgage is FHA-insured, and the amount of cash you wish to access.
- Qualification information, such as your selected credit-score range, employment status, and veteran or active-duty status.
- Your communication preferences, consent records, and any information you include in communications with us.
Information collected automatically
When you use the Site, we may collect device and usage information such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, campaign parameters, pages or features used, timestamps, and whether you selected a displayed call link. We may derive an approximate location from an IP address or ZIP code.
Information from other sources
We may receive information from participating providers, service providers, advertising partners, public records, or other lawful sources, including updates about the status of a referral and information used to prevent fraud or maintain accurate records.
3. How we use information
We may use personal information to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Site and referral services.
- Process your inquiry, assess matching criteria, and connect your request with participating providers.
- Communicate with you about your request, including by telephone, email, or text message when permitted by your consent and applicable law.
- Measure campaign performance, understand Site use, conduct analytics, and improve user experience.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and other harmful activity.
- Maintain consent and transaction records, enforce our Terms of Use, respond to requests, and comply with legal obligations.
4. How we disclose information
We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances:
- Participating providers. We may disclose your inquiry to up to six mortgage, refinance, financial-service, or related providers that may be interested in responding to it. Those providers may contact you and determine independently whether to offer products or services.
- Service providers. We may use companies that support hosting, form processing, address completion, communications, analytics, fraud prevention, data management, and other operational functions. They may process information for us subject to contractual or legal restrictions.
- Advertising and measurement partners. We may disclose identifiers and internet or usage information to measure advertising and understand which campaigns bring visitors to the Site.
- Legal, safety, and compliance purposes. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process; protect rights, safety, or property; investigate fraud or abuse; or enforce agreements.
- Business transactions. Information may be disclosed as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to appropriate protections.

6. Your privacy rights and choices
Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to request that we:
- Confirm whether we process your personal information and provide access to or a copy of it.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Delete personal information.
- Provide certain information in a portable format.
- Opt you out of the sale or sharing of personal information, targeted advertising, or certain profiling.
- Limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information.
- Review an appeal if we decline a request, where applicable.
To make a request, email consent@ratepathloans.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” To opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, use the subject “Do Not Sell or Share.” Describe your request and provide the email address and telephone number used on the Site so we can locate the record.
We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization and identity verification. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
7. Communication choices and withdrawal of consent
You may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in an email. You may revoke consent for calls or texts by using any opt-out method stated in the message, telling the caller, replying STOP to a text when available, or emailing consent@ratepathloans.com. We may retain a suppression record so that we can honor your request.
Revoking marketing consent does not prevent non-marketing communications that are necessary to respond to an active request, fulfill legal obligations, or protect the Site.
8. Data retention and security
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including processing referrals, maintaining consent and transaction records, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, and meeting legal or contractual obligations. Retention periods vary based on the type of information and the reason it was collected.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no internet transmission, storage system, or security measure is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children and U.S.-only use
The Site is intended for adults in the United States and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.
The Site is not intended for residents of countries outside the United States. If you access it from another jurisdiction, you understand that information may be processed in the United States.
